Sharm El Sheikh – Desert of the Sinai.

Itinerary in details:
 

Day 1: Arrival in Sharm El Sheikh

Arrival at Sharm El Sheikh airport, assistance during entry visa formalities. Transfer and overnight in the hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 2: Beginning of the trekking

Transfert in direction of the St Catherine Monastery. Initial meeting with the desert and the camels. All the day you will ride the camels in the surroundings of the Gebel Gunna. A movie scenery cannot be more beautiful. From the place where we will camp for the night, we enjoy a panoramic view on the St Catherine.  First night in tents in the desert.

 

Day 3: Arada canyon

After breakfast, we continue to Arada Canyon. By walking, we discover this adventurous Canyon. With a little chance, a glass of tea offered by the Bedouins in their tents, will strengthen us to continue our road, through the Wadi Arada and the Haggar Maktub. Camping is in Wadi Matamir's surroundings and perhaps Bedouins will still tell us one or the other history of their life.

 

Day 4: Bir Safra

Today, still before the lunch you go up on the first sand dune. Another event of this day is a water source, where you will be able to refresh yourselves. In the afternoon you discover the rather rocky mountain part of the Sinai. Night in Wadi Mureikh among the acacia trees.

 

Day 5: Dunes

Directly after the breakfast, you will ride with your camel on a high plateau, where you will be rewarded by an impressive view on the sand desert. In the afternoon, you continue along the sand desert and observe Rocky Mountain formation worthy of sculptures of a museum. Night in tents in the middle of the dunes.

 

Day 6: Gebel Barqua

In the morning, before or after the breakfast you have the time to discover this splendid landscape. Later, we continue to the Gebel Mahrum, where numerous rock and sand formation awaits us. Last evening with the Bedouins and their camels.

 

Day 7: Wadi Gibi

Today, we leave the desert in Wadi Gibi, we separate ourselves from the Bedouins and from the camels. A delicious meal is prepared. A last night in tents under the stars.

 

Day 8: Desert of the Sinai - Sharm El Sheikh

Transfer to Sharm El Sheikh. Night in the hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

 

Day 9: Departure from  Sharm El Sheikh (*)

Transfer to Sharm El Sheikh's airport and return flight.
